ICSI Cybersecurity Researcher in the News

ICSI Postdoc Nick Weaver, of the Networking Group, was quoted in the New York Times on February 8, 2004 in an article about internet viruses and worms. Weaver's research at ICSI focuses specifically on worms, which, unlike viruses, do not require user action in order to replicate.
