Abstract | TED talks are the pinnacle of public speaking. They combinecompelling content with flawless delivery, and their popularityis attested by the millions of views they attract. In this work, wecompare the prosodic voice characteristics of TED speakers anduniversity professors. Our aim is to identify the characteristicsthat separate TED speakers from other public speakers.
